I have been loving all of my Seniors this year, and this sweet girl is no exception! Janie’s mom, Tracy, reached out to me after they saw Buie’s Senior Session and liked them. Janie is actually from Georgia and knew she wanted her Senior portraits to look different from her classmates. So when her family was making a trip into town for a family gathering anyway, it made for the perfect excuse to meet up! Our little downtown area mixed with nature surely provided Janie something different than what she would’ve had in her hometown.

Janie is a beautiful, sweet and quiet young lady! She hails from a very small town in Georgia. If you’re from Lake City, then you may think, “well, we’re from a small town, it couldn’t be much different, right?” Umm, no. Apparently, their small town only has one traffic light. I’m not sure if that’s scary to me or a feeling of freedom! Either way, small town living is the best, right?! Her class from what I understand is also one of the largest graduating classes to date, with a bit over 200 graduates! Janie is a sweetheart and has not only the best smile but a great serious face too! I think these girls must practice their serious faces because my serious face is not as pleasant, haha! We began our morning in downtown Lake City and began weaving in and out of the streets and buildings. Janie chose some great fall outfits and they worked perfectly! After spending a little time with our old buildings, we made our way down to the Itchetucknee River. It was definitely a beautiful day at the river and I’m glad that she chose this location!
