I’ve fallen a little behind on the blogging game, but here I am, working on making my comeback! I’m pretty excited to show you what I’ve been up to over the past basically three months, starting with this sweet maternity session!

I’ve know Nina and David for a decade now! When I think of it in those terms, it feels like it’s been forever! I met Nina from my days at the bank. [If you didn’t know, I worked at a local bank for 5 1/2 years in the accounting department – super thrilling, I know] Fun fact: David and Nina were married just two months before Jonny and I!! We were all just babies! I was so dang excited when Nina invited me to document this special time in their lives!

When the time came around to meet up for this session, we were being stalked by Hurricane Dorian…which never ended up hitting us, thankfully. However, even though we knew that the Island was getting prepared to shut down, we still made it to the beach for a little bit of time. Hurricanes sure have a way of clearing the beach, so we basically had it all to ourselves in our area! After getting what we could, we finished our night off with some amazing pasta at this cute little Italian joint. At the end of the week, once we knew Dorian was out of sight, we met back up locally to finish out their session. And let me tell you. It was a perfectly, beautiful day [and exceptionally warm per usual]. You could not have asked for prettier light. It gives me that creepy, excited grin just thinking about it!!

Since this time, Nina and David have welcomed their sweet little girl into this world!! Heringer Family, thank you so much for inviting me to capture these sweet moments for y’all! You’re the best!!
