It’s funny how we make our plans and go about our business, all the while God is making His plans. And that’s precisely what happened on this wedding. Adrienne and Tommy were planning a beautiful January wedding which would partly take place outdoors. I was really excited, because the place the reception would be held is beautiful and special. However, when the first Winter storm of January decided to settle in, Adrienne had peace about moving her entire wedding indoors. Now, it never rained on her day…but oh my, was it cold…and windy! Now, you may recognize this couple from their engagement session which you can see here, another crazy weather day. It might have not been cold that day, but windy – Â yes, gloomy – yes, and in fact it did rain as soon as we drove off.
Adrienne and Tommy married at the beginning of January in the church that she grew up in. The place that holds so many beautiful memories for her and a place that she knows is home. Their day may have been a little more simple than some couples, but Adrienne was a stunning bride and the day was filled with so much love and emotion, which is the most important. The two most special moments of the day was when Adrienne’s father saw her for the first time and when the Elders of the church prayed over them and their marriage. You can see the love that these two share for one antoher, but they also have so much fun together. These two certainly found a perfect match in each other. Tommy is a sports-aholic, so you can just imagine that the woman of his dreams would need to be a big sports fan as well. And Adrienne is. They had two Florida Gator cakes and their exit was donned with pom-poms! They are ridiculously cute!
Even though the original wedding plans were changed slightly, these two were still up for outdoor portraits. Once the wedding ended, we drove a few minutes down the road to Camp Milton. This little park was just darling, and it had lots of trees which minimally blocked all that wind that I mentioned earlier. Let’s be real, we. were. freezing. But that’s just how us Floridians are. Adrienne and Tommy were such troopers enduring the frigid wind, but I think it paid off for them!
Adrienne and Tommy, thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of such a special day in your lives! I am blessed to know you both and wish you a lifetime of love and laughter! Maybe we’ll catch a football or basketball game together sometime!
xoxo,
Holly

I can totally sympathize with her! We had a whole outdoor reception planned but with rain and insane mosquitoes had to move it indoors last minute. But you roll with the punches and it looks like they had such a beautiful day even with the changes! What a sweet and lovely couple!
