I have a love | hate relationship with secrets…especially when they relate to my business. There are times that I get so excited over something and it seriously drives me insane to not share with you guys! I have to mentally file the thoughts into the back of my mind and move on. So, that’s why today, I’m excited all over again about this session!

Do you remember a couple of months back when I wrote a blog about Bridal Sessions? If not, click here to see why I think Bridal Sessions are always a good idea! After posting my thoughts, my bride, Autumn, reached out about setting a session up! We set the date for two months out from her wedding and she also scheduled a trial run with her hair and makeup! It was a perfect and beautiful day and she was absolutely gorgeous!

By scheduling to do these portraits ahead of her wedding, we were able to really capture some unique images for her! Of course we have our regular go-to beautiful natural shots, but we also had time to play and create a few dramatic portraits. Those absolutely turned out to be my favorite! She came in with no expectations, so I had free reign to try new things, and I’m thrilled with the outcome! It was actually those portraits that inspired her thoughts on having that type of lighting recreated for her first touch | prayer time with her groom on their wedding day…and I personally think we nailed it! After two months of holding these images hostage, I’m elated to finally share them with the rest of the world!!
