Blush and Burgundy Inspired Shoot | Halpatter Brewing Company

Guys! I hate to tell you this, but I’ve been holding out on another shoot from y’all! Ugh, I’m so terrible I know! However, this one isn’t two years like the Trevor Dayley shoot, or the one I just shared from one year ago from the AJ Workshop. It’s only from October, so like only nine months. I’d say that’s an improvement! However, I will all add that since this shoot was meant for publication, I had no choice but to keep it under wraps. But now, it’s coming out of the vault!

Amy of Imperial Productions and I teamed up for a styled shoot and our goal was to try and come up with something a little different to showcase. We knew we wanted to do something new, fun and unique, but had to figure out exactly what that meant. I offered up the idea of shooting at Halpatter Brewing, which my husband is part owner in, and she jumped right on board. At this point, Halpatter had all of the “original charm” since no renovations on the event space had been done. I feel like after we picked our location, things just kind of fell into place. We met up with Ericka, of the Golden Needle, to start selecting a dress. Ericka carries some of the most beautiful dresses around, but we still wanted something new to the area. Amy and I stumbled across a beautiful blush dress by Allure and thought it was a great fit for the shoot and Ericka made it happen! We originally thought about doing a navy suit, but once we saw this burgundy one on display, we both gravitated towards it and quickly had a change of heart. We reached out to our other friendors [friend + vendors] with the concept and started creating magic. The colors of this shoot are by far some of my favorite pairings! I mean, can you really go wrong with a blush and burgundy combination? I think not! The flowers from CC’s were perfection and the cake by Callista was to die for! I mean, seriously, just look!

I really cannot say enough good things about all of these talents coming together and creating this shoot! They’re all topnotch professionals, that are amazing at what they do! I am also so excited to see this space come to life and cannot wait to share with you guys the finished product – it’s going to be amazing! It’s awesome thinking about all of the people who may use this space and to see what their vision for it is!

Thank you to all involved for making this shoot possible! You rock!! Make sure to scroll to the end for our awesome lineup of friendors!

xoxo,

Holly
