I figured today was a good day to show something else that I’ve worked on lately! Weddings are certainly my jam, but sessions with my past bride and grooms make me just as excited! I love catching up with all of my couples in all stages of life. It’s been 5 years since I’ve photographed this sweet couple’s wedding and 4 years since they last stepped in front of my camera! Too long! So, if you haven’t been around here that long or need a refresher: Meet Dorisela and Martin!!

Dorisela contacted me in December about scheduling their 5 Year Anniversary photos!! I actually cannot believe it’s already been five years! The time has seriously flown by. She told me that because she loves to travel so much, she wanted to incorporate that somehow! Days later she told me that we would be meeting at the Gainesville Regional Airport to shoot with a plane!! For real – the most exciting!! I was stoked! Hello, planes! Can you blame me?! I met up with her and Martin one beautiful afternoon and that’s where the surprise came in. As we were loading all of their travel props onto a golf cart, I saw the sign. The sign officially announcing their move into Parenthood! I was completely shocked and excited for these two! I did not stop smiling throughout their session! Dorisela gave me no hints as to this being the real reason for the session…sneaky, sneaky!! Honestly though, I kind of liked it being a surprise as I’m usually the secret keeper. In just a few short weeks, we’ll be shooting their actual Maternity Session and I cannot wait!!
