If you know anything about the couple involved in this post, then you know there’s a story behind everything. You know that life is never boring and adventures must be had. So, I didn’t expect anything less when Kate approached me about taking pictures of them for their upcoming six year Anniversary! Her original thoughts were grand and amazing, but the stars did not align and it left us on the hunt for something special. She knew that she didn’t want her session to look like anyone else’s, so we scoured the internet and she sent me this place. I knew immediately that it had the utmost potential for awesome images. And honestly, it did not disappoint. A few days later, we loaded up in the Jeep and were Georgia bound for our adventure session!

It was a little over a three hour drive to our destination, but dang, it was worth it! We made our way down the trail head, which was so easy to get down, but let’s be real, I was huffing and puffing my way back up. But I’ll just blame that on the gear that I was carrying…lol. When we started our session, Kate challenged me with stepping outside of my box. I really took this to heart with how I shot their session down to how I edited their session. I knew I wanted it to be special and a little different. Something that really suited this couple’s style, and I’m excited and loving how everything came together.

This little canyon was amazing. I loved the colors and we basically had the whole park to ourselves, especially after 6:00 pm – but that’s another story! Kate and Matt were so much fun to work with and have the best style. I love the outfits that she chose! Relaxed and hip and it just fit the scenery so well.

Kate and Matt, I’m so glad to call you friends and I wish you many more years of love and laughter in your marriage…and of course, adventures!
