I first met Kayla a little over a year ago at her sister’s wedding. It was definitely a memorable moment for me because when I first saw her, I was confused. You see, she is a twin to my bride, Taylor! Both gorgeous and both sweethearts! But don’t worry, I don’t confuse them anymore!

Kayla and Bubba were engaged last Christmas and we took their engagement photos on the beach in Jacksonville earlier this spring. I was so excited to be included in another big moment by this family. They are simply the best! When I found out that they were having a destination wedding in Siesta Key, I got really excited. Both of these sisters had very intimate weddings, being surrounded only by their closest family and friends. Both weddings completely different in style, but they both focused on what was important to them – the love of their closest people!

Kayla and Bubba are such a laid back couple, that I knew the day would be easy going. We started their day at the Siesta Key Beachside Villas – seriously, I want to get back down there just to be able to stay at these little villas. They were so charming! When I arrived, Kayla and her sisters were already ready, so I went straight into detail mode. Her dress. Gah, it was gorgeous and so perfect for the beach. The Golden Needle really delivered on this one! It fit her amazingly and was just breathtaking! I honestly have never seen anything like it. The Golden Needle was fully represented on this wedding and they did not disappoint – they dressed not only the full bridal party, but the moms as well. Everyone involved looked top notch! Kayla really did make one of the most beautiful and sweet brides ever. Oh, and wait until you see Kayla’s little girl – she’s just the cutest little thing ever!! She looked like a mini-bride!!

Kayla and Bubba had a sweet and simple ceremony right on the beach, and you could not have asked for a more beautiful day! The sun was shining all day and we were left with a gorgeous sunset. Being that it was late October, we were left a little chilled, but it was definitely worth it! I am so thankful having been able to be a part of this special day. In a sea of the fall craziness, it was a breath of fresh air to be able to have a stress-free day and be involved with a family that I’ve already built a special relationship with! It was beyond a perfect day!
