Happy Monday, friends! Today I’m excited to share this gorgeous Charleston wedding with you!! This time last year Lauren contacted me about photographing her wedding and I was pumped. Charleston is one gorgeous town and I could not wait for this day to come around. Meet Lauren and Ryan!
Lauren and Ryan had a beautiful, unique day in the Historic District of Charleston. They chose the gorgeous Cathedral of St. John the Baptist for their Mass. Not only was it a traditional Mass, but it was spoken in Latin! It was so neat to listen to, even though I really had no idea what was being said. Lauren and Ryan have been attending Latin Mass for quite some time, so they knew that they wanted to incorporate that into their day. After the ceremony, we took portraits around the Cathedral and then made our way over to the Citadel. Ryan is in the Air Force and graduated from The Citadel. He even donned his dress blues for the wedding, which made me extremely happy. So that combined with Lauren’s gorgeous dress was sheer perfection. Their whole day just felt quintessential Charleston, especially combined with their Historic Rice Mill reception. I can’t say enough how gorgeous this day was and how sweet these two are. So, just take a look for yourself below!
Lauren and Ryan, thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of your beautiful day! It was such a pleasure getting to know you both!!
xoxo,
Holly
