I think it’s safe to say that we are officially in engagement session season…and I love it! Not only is the weather beautiful, well, somedays are still way hot, but we get the pretty golden light and cooler temperatures. I absolutely just love fall! Engagement sessions are the perfect way not only for me to get to know my couple together, but for them to get practice in front of the camera before their big day! Most couples actually go ahead and do certain things on their wedding day without me prompting because they know what went down on their engagement session. It’s great!

Meet Lorianne and Jarred! These two cuties are getting married in March at C Bar Ranch in Alachua. It’s a newer venue and one that I had not yet visited, but I actually will be there a couple of times next year! Lorianne decided on this location as well for their engagement session. It worked out great being able to have a session there prior to the wedding day to be able to get a feel for the place. We had quite the interesting afternoon at C Bar Ranch. When we first arrived, we had beautiful lighting and it was gorgeous outside. Then out of nowhere, it began to rain. And then it stopped. But then it started raining again. Typical Florida. However, one of the venue owners, Nanette, came to our rescue while we were out in the field and picked us up to spare us from the rain. It was really sweet. The owners really went out of their way to make our session special! This couple did not let a little rain get them down though. We waited it out both times and carried on! Lorianne and Jarred are a pleasure to be around and I love the way they are together!!
