If you’ve been around for a while, then you may recognize this couple! Now, Emily and Josh are actually a pre-awesome-blog couple, but they are super sweet and you can check out their gorgeous wedding here. Just a little background, Josh is a Graphics Designer that I have worked with over the years when he used to work for a local advertising company. He was always so fun to work with and amazing at what he does. So, when he and Emily asked me to document their wedding, I couldn’t have been more thrilled! This couple is definitely unique and special and when it comes to creating portraits, they always make sure to choose places that reflect their personality. When couples continue to welcome me into their lives once their wedding is over, I honestly count it a blessing! I love seeing my couples through all of their life stages!
Emily and Josh chose to have their maternity portraits taken in Palm Coast, a cute little beachside town. These two are not really sprawling fields and big trees kind of people (at least not for pictures) and I love that about them. We began our session at the European Village in Palm Coast. This place is just the best, I really love everything about it! The colors and style make it feel very not Florida. Hence the name, it does make you feel like you may could be in Europe. Our session threatened of rain the entire time, which is not surprising for this weird state. Thankfully it didn’t rain until I hit the road back home. However, these two did not let that bother them! They don’t mind the moody weather at all, especially since that seems to be the hand that we’re dealt most times. Honestly, the moody beach was perfect! After the village, we scooted down to the beach at the Hammock Resort where they were staying. This place was absolutely gorgeous, and now I want to go stay there…even if it’s just for the night! Emily and Josh picked two locations that suited them perfectly for their maternity session!
Emily and Josh, thank you so much for allowing me to document another special occasion in your life! It’s been such an honor seeing you through all of these big moments! I cannot wait to meet your special little girl!!
xoxo,
Holly
