I met Breanna and Parrish a couple of weeks back for their engagement session at Kanapaha Botanical Gardens in Gainesville. In the weeks leading up to their session, Breanna had a few different options as far as locations to choose from. She finally decided to do them at Kanapaha and I’m so glad she did. If you’re in the Gainesville area and have never been, you really should make an afternoon of it and visit. It’s a cool place and I love all of the different little areas that really can give just different looks to your images.

It was a beautiful and warm [of course] Sunday afternoon when I left Lake City to meet them in Gainesville. However, I really started to worry because it rained well over half of my trip down to meet them. They skies were gloomy and I tried to prepare for what could come. I told them that we would do what we could and in the meantime that I would bring my trusty, clear umbrellas. I also always say that if I bring my umbrellas, it will keep the rain away. It’s bittersweet, really, because on one hand, who doesn’t love a little rainy day picture with cute umbrellas, but staying dry never hurts anyone either! That being said, it tried to sprinkle within the first couple of minutes, and then nothing. See, those umbrellas really are magical.

Breanna and Parrish are just the sweetest and have a quiet love. They are not a super loud couple, but you can see the love that they share for one another. I asked them how he proposed, and he said it was New Years and that it was just the two of them. After spending time with this couple, I know that it had to have been just a sweet moment for them. Nothing over the top or a big to do, but a special and laid back moment that they will never forget.

Breanna and Parrish, I am so excited for your February wedding and know that it is going to be perfect and beautiful!!
