This wedding was more than I could have ever imagined. Quite simply – it was perfect. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves just yet. Kelsee and Lance have a special place in my heart. I have known Kelsee for quite a while now, so when I knew she was going to be getting engaged and married, I seriously could not have been more happy for her. She is just a genuinely sweet person and deserves the best. She found that in Lance. I have captured several amazing moments for them this summer! There was a surprise proposal at The Swamp at the University of Florida, their engagement session and now their wedding. They have seen a lot of my face in the past few months for sure!
Back to the wedding. Kelsee set her date and knew she wanted to have her wedding on the beach, surrounded by only her closest family and friends. She enlisted our friend Amy of Imperial Productions, to take care of all the special details. Amy definitely delivered on making this wedding special and exceptionally beautiful. It just goes to show that no matter how intimate a wedding is, the details can be just as beautiful!
Kelsee and Lance both got ready at a condo at the European Village in Palm Coast and I seriously squealed a little when I saw this place. It. Was. Beautiful. Honestly, it felt like we had been transported to a little town in Europe. This place was perfect for getting ready and for portraits. After they were ready and a few portraits had been taken, we headed to the beach for their ceremony. It was simple and gorgeous. From the chiavari chairs to the handmade driftwood arbor surrounded with flowers. [PS – Amy made that arbor!] Don’t let me forget the cutest little girl ever, Paisley, Lance’s daughter! Most people only have their ceremony on the beach, but Kelsee took it a step further and had their reception there as well. Guests dined on Harry’s Seafood while listening to the sound of the ocean. Honestly, you could not have asked for a more beautiful day! After dinner and cutting the cake, we went into their portraits. It was magical having their pictures done on the beach! There really is nothing quite like it. The wind, water and rocks all made for a stunning sight. But I’ll let the images speak for themselves!
Kelsee and Lance, thank you again for having me be a part of your lives! I am honored to have witnessed these events and am thankful to call you friends! I wish you the best as you begin your journey as husband and wife!!
