I cannot tell you just how excited I am today to share this wedding with you all! I am also a little sad that this wedding has come and gone! Kaleigh and Jeff were probably one of my longest booked weddings. Kaleigh contacted me about 16 months prior to her October 2017 wedding. You may remember these two from their gorgeous St. Augustine session which you can check out here. They were such a pleasure to spend the day with that I just knew their wedding day would be amazing…and it was!
Kaleigh and Jeff were married in the church that she grew up in in Rockledge and a beautiful reception to follow at the Crowne Plaza in Melbourne. No detail was missed during this beautiful day! Kaleigh was a classic bride from her Maggie Sottero dress to her Kate Spade shoes!! Fun fact: Kaleigh actually got her dress from Kleinfeld Bridal in New York!! How fun and exciting is that?! I think that would be quite the experience. After getting ready, we all loaded up in a couple of limos to head to the church. Kaleigh grew up in the Faith Viera Lutheran Church and the Pastor who married them has known Kaleigh her whole life. It’s so special when we can involve those in our wedding day who know us so well and want only the best for us. After the ceremony, we loaded back up and made our way back to the reception site. The Crowne Plaza is one beautiful hotel! It sits right on the beach and is currently being renovated [thanks, Irma]. Their staff is amazing and helped the evening to run very smoothly. Speaking of awesome vendors, I do have to give a quick shout out to the team of Vendors throughout the day! They’ll be listed below, but everyone was amazing and perfect and helped this wedding day to be spectacular. From hair and makeup to the wedding planner, Melanie – everything ran like a well oiled machine!
Kaleigh and Jeff’s reception was definitely one for the books. The DJ was so interactive and had us doing things that I do not typically see at weddings. Before dinner, the guests played a napkin game – kind of like, a get to know the random people you may be sitting with game. So he played the music and a napkin was passed around the table. One time it stopped and it was to hug someone, another time it was a dance battle. Just a fun time and to loosen everyone up for the night. Later in the evening, Kaleigh and Jeff also played the shoe game. Now, for those of you not familiar with this, it’s where the bride and groom sit back to back and they each have one of their shoes and one of their partners shoes. The DJ would ask questions and each of them had to answer by lifting whoever’s shoe they thought would best fit. It was great! Most of the time, Kaleigh and Jeff’s answers were the same, but from time to time it was opposite and their reactions made it fun! They ended their night with one last private dance and a sparkler exit!! All in all, this was one perfect day and one of my favorite weddings! Kaleigh and Jeff are such a sweet couple that I just adore [and their sweet families as well]!!
Kaleigh and Jeff, thank you so much for having me be a part of your very special day! You two are such a beautiful couple and I’m so blessed to have been able to be in your lives during this time. I cannot wait to see your story continue to unfold!! I hope to see y’all again soon!!
xoxo,
Holly
