Kelsey grabbed the mic, looked at Maria and started serenading her to the song of “Good Morning Beautiful.” The way she looked and softly smiled at him, standing there in her beautiful wedding gown, you just knew that this was real and you could tell just how much she adored him. It was one of the many special moments had during this particular wedding day.

Kelsey and Maria were married on a Thursday in October at the First Baptist Church of Jasper. I know what you’re thinking, a Thursday?! You see, this Thursday wasn’t any old Thursday, it was special. It was their anniversary! They are one of a few of my couples to get married on the Anniversary of when they began dating. I think it’s kinda sweet!

Maria was stunning in her Allure gown! Her dress even had its own dress form – but seriously, it deserved it! I was floored and excited when I walked through the door and saw it. It definitely is a show stopper! Kelsey also was pretty dapper too, if I do say so myself. This wedding boasted beautiful hints of fall without being too overdone. It was beautiful! After saying their “I do’s” in front of friends and family, we went over to the Spirit of the Suwannee for their reception. There were tears and smiles throughout the reception from the special dances to the toasts. There were loved ones who couldn’t be present and you could just feel the tug in your heart and everyone else’s knowing that there was a longing for them to be there. These are the individual pieces that I will not forget from this beautiful day.

These two are such a sweet and beautiful couple, and honestly, the were naturals in front of the camera! There were so many precious moments shared between this bride and groom and their family, that I was brought to tears several times. These families have so much love and it was a honor to witness.

Maria and Kelsey, thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of such a special occasion! It’s been a privilege getting to know you and witness the love that you two share for one another!!
