Megan and Brandon | St. Augustine Engagement Session

I couldn’t think of any better way to kick off this week than by sharing this gorgeous Engagement Session! You may remember this stunning couple from their Universal Studios Surprise Proposal, which you can see here. That was really one of the most fun days that I have had with my couples! Megan and Brandon chose to do their photos in Downtown St. Augustine and on the beach, and really, we could not have asked for a more perfect day! Side note: Megan’s outfits were absolutely to die for!

I was pumped to meet up with these two for the afternoon, but leading up to their session that day was bit of a frantic scene for me. I had planned to leave for St. Augustine earlier than I really needed to, but as usual ended up behind on time, but still on time if that makes any sense. However, as I packed everything in my car and went to start it, it wouldn’t turn over. I was in panic mode! Thankfully, my dear friend, Amy, came to my rescue, took me to get a different vehicle and I was on my way! I wasn’t terribly late, but still not on time either. As you know, I’ve known Brandon for several years now, so I was excited to get a chance to spend more time getting to know Megan! She is such a sweetie and has the best smile! We spent half of our time roaming the streets of St. Augustine and finding as many quite places as possible. St. Augustine is typically busy anyway with tourists, but with it being just a couple of days before Christmas and the Night of Lights and what not, the town gets even busier. However, we found some of the most perfect spots! Afterwards, we drove down to the beach to finish off their session. It was here that Megan found herself being complimented by half a dozen strangers or more on her gorgeous dress! She seriously did good on her outfit choices. I’m pretty sure I need her to remind me where she got everything from!! The beach was pretty quiet and for the most part felt like it was just us out there. We were blessed with beautiful golden light and pastel skies! As much as I actually love a good sunset, I also really enjoy the opposite skies and watching it being painted with soft cotton candy colors. Thankfully, we had both! Honestly, it was a great way to end a beautiful day!!

Megan and Brandon, I had the best time with y’all and I cannot wait for your April wedding!!

xoxo,

Holly
